Pumpkin Update
Starting to turn orange. So far the newspaper placed under the fruit has kept it from getting ground rot.
Three new ones!
I can tell that the first two pumpkins (and most likely these new ones) are going to be ripe and ready w-a-y before their season comes around. But this has been so fun to watch that I've decided to plant a pumpkin patch in the front yard. Books and seed packages say that the best time to plant pumpkins in North Central Texas is in July; so I now know what I'll be doing this weekend.
